John Cage clustering

I originally came across John Cage through Keri Smith. Her quotes, and the people she quotes have always fascinated me.
Years later sitting in Object Oriented Programming (hell class number 27 for my major) my professor also quoted John Cage in reference to not challenging doing something a certain way, but instead to just do it. I wish i could remember the exact quote. I've come to realize this is a huge lesson in programming, and my logical left brain has had a problems embracing the idea.
My professor was a composer himself and he did touch on Cage's 4'33 work "which explores the ambient sounds of silence." His "silent" work and ideas originated from his study of Zen and Buddhism.
Anyway, i did some clustering of his name to see what would come out of it.
Some words/ideas i was left with were:
-quotes
-inspiration
-friends
-genius
-crying
-joy

Interesting.

And these are some of my favorite quotes by him.

"The highest purpose is to have no purpose at all. This puts one in accord with nature, in her manner of operation"
(this very tied in with Yoga, Zen and Buddhism)

"There is poetry as soon as we realize that we possess nothing"

"I have nothing to say / and I am saying it / and that is poetry / as I needed it"

"It is not irritating to be where one is. It is only irritating to think one would like to be somewhere else."

"An error is simply a failure to adjust immediately from a preconception to an actuality."
